I left my heart in Mariveles, Bataan

In between the last time I posted and this moment I am writing, I have gathered more material on what to blog about. I never thought, however, that I would end up getting enough for a three-part series.

Let this short little interlude serve as a promise for me to deliver on what I must write about: 30 hours in Mariveles, Bataan, and the hours we spent on the road. What I experienced and seen with my friends really cannot be kept to ourselves.

One of the most significant things that planted itself in my heart is the fact that I am a writer — I am a blogger — and that I must  truly accept it, embrace it, and cultivate it.  I have a duty to write. I have a duty to tell stories — not just of/for myself, but of/for those who do not have a voice, or who have yet to find their voices.
